大学院プログラム

大林が所属する岡山大学環境生命自然科学研究科は大学院生を募集しています． 大林はパーシステントホモロジーを中心とした位相的データ解析に興味があります． 以下のような内容に興味がある学生の応募を歓迎いたします．

• パーシステントホモロジーによるデータ解析手法の研究
• パーシステントホモロジーの材料科学などへのデータ解析への応用
  • 材料科学以外への分野への応用も歓迎
• パーシステントホモロジーのソフトウェアに関する研究
• 位相的データ解析の数学理論の研究

以下のような能力は共通に必要です。

• 基礎的な数学の能力
• プログラミング能力

その他，研究計画に応じて以下のようなあるとよいです。

• データ解析手法の研究計画：統計学や機械学習などの知識
• ソフトウェアの研究をする計画：ホモロジー，パーシステントホモロジーのようなより広い数学，アルゴリズムの理論
• 応用研究計画の場合：応用先のドメイン知識
• 数学理論の研究計画：ターゲットとなる数学理論

Graduate student Program

The Graduate School of Environmental and Life Science at Okayama University, to which Obayashi belongs, is looking for graduate students. We welcome applications from students who are interested in the following topics.

• Application of persistent homology to data analysis in materials science, etc.

• Research on software for persistent homology
• Research on the mathematical theory of topological data analysis
